I capture memories and moments by transcribing them onto paper. My preferred method is with fine-tipped black ink, though watercolour is slowly seeping its way into practice.

The act of transforming earth - clay - mineral - water into a solid object is a beautiful creation, even more so when I have the honor of repairing it when broken from loving use. Kintsugi is the art of mending broken pottery with urushi (a traditional tree sap based lacquer) and gold. The mended piece celebrates its’ usage, becoming more valuable because of it.
